Stop using the opener, keep people and pets away from the door and do not try to force it. If the door is stuck open and you can safely do so, park a car across the opening or lock the interior door to the house.
Only if it moves smoothly and evenly. Pull the red emergency release cord and lower the door slowly by hand. If it is crooked, very heavy or off its track, leave it and call.
